Because sometimes our imaginations need to kick off their shoes and run barefoot through the tall grass-way up to our noses grass-where we can't see what's next or who's lurking.  For the scary and exciting possibility we might fall in love with someone waiting just beyond a field of dandelions.  

Throughout the presentation we'll stay firmly on the side of writer and nary a step toward editor.  Teachers give us an editor's thoughts and tools.  I'll give you the magic and wonder of an artist. 

Together we'll test the boundaries of our imaginations.  We'll push past what we thought our pens capable.  And at the end of our time, we'll smile.  Not because what we've made is perfect or spelled correctly, but because we've opened our hearts and poured them onto the page. For this, we'll call ourselves artists and makers of great things.
